Disney rolled out the red carpet selling “Frozen” merchandise.

Disney Consumer Products has a big program for licensed merchandise connected with animated movie “Frozen,” which hits theaters Nov. 27. The PG-rated movie is aimed at the kids/family demographic.

“Frozen” products include “role-play items, plush stuffed animals, dolls, apparel, home décor (and) books,” says a press release. “With innovative products like Anna and Elsa dolls that light up and play a melody when they join hands, to Olaf plush that talks when he comes apart, just like his character in the movie, the collection leverages the storytelling and themes in the film to bring the big-screen comedy adventure to life at home.”

Products cited in the PR range from a $9.99 Olaf knit hat to the $99.99 Disney Frozen Castle and Ice Palace Playset by Mattel toys. The press release is interesting because it lists prices.
