Atom App Pushes Merchandise with 'Rogue' Tix

Nov. 26, 2016—Atom Tickets, which is a commerce smart-phone app, says for “the first time ever” moviegoers can purchase film merchandise with tickets. It's a tie-in with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
   “Using predictive analytics and modern e-commerce techniques, Atom Tickets connects theatergoers with movies they will love, helps

them coordinate with friends and family, and now offers more ways for them to enjoy the film long after the movie ends with future offerings across toys, apparel, music and games,” says an Atom press release. “The collaboration continues Atom's relationship with Disney, which selected Atom Tickets as one of nine companies for the esteemed 2016 Disney Accelerator Program, offering guidance, access, and opportunities to work with all divisions of The Walt Disney Company.”
   Walt Disney Studios will release the PG-13 rated Rogue One on Dec. 16 in the U.S. and Canada. The Atom Tickets platform is a digital media application creation for commerce with smart phones.
